Refund Policy

 Legal Disclaimer

Effective Date: December 2023

At Organized Chaos Business Services (“OCBS”), we are committed to providing high-quality administrative, operational, HR, payroll, bookkeeping, and business support services. Because our work is tailored to each client and requires immediate allocation of time and resources, the following refund terms apply:

1. Service-Based Work

Payments made for consulting, operational support, administrative services, HR/payroll work, bookkeeping, or project-based services are non-refundable once services have begun.

2. Deposits & Retainers

  • Deposits and retainers are non-refundable, as they secure scheduling, planning, and resource allocation.

  • If a client cancels before any work has started, unused retainer funds may be credited toward future services upon written agreement.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a client cancels before work has officially begun and before any onboarding, planning, document review, task execution, or deliverables have been initiated, a partial refund may be considered, minus administrative time or fees already incurred.

4. Project Completion

Once consultations, administrative support, HR/payroll work, financial reconciliation, onboarding, or deliverables have been initiated or completed, no refunds will be issued, as value has been delivered.

5. Client Satisfaction & Revisions

If you have concerns about deliverables or accuracy:

  • Requests for corrections must be submitted in writing within 7 business days of delivery.

  • OCBS will make reasonable revisions within the original project scope at no additional charge.

  • Additional revisions outside the original scope may require a change order and additional fees.

6. Client Communication & Engagement

If a client becomes unresponsive or does not provide necessary information to begin or complete services:

  • No refund will be issued.

  • Services may be paused until communication resumes.

  • Retainer funds may convert to a credit for rescheduling for up to 30 days, at OCBS discretion.

7. Digital Products, Templates & Resources

All digital downloads, templates, checklists, trainings, or electronic resources purchased through OCBS are final sale and non-refundable due to immediate access and intellectual value.

8. Payment Disputes

Payment disputes must be communicated in writing prior to initiating a chargeback. OCBS will make every effort to resolve concerns professionally and promptly.

9. Refund Exceptions

Refund exceptions may be granted only at the discretion of OCBS and only when:

  • Services have not begun,

  • No onboarding or planning has been completed, and

  • A written cancellation request is submitted.

Approved refunds may be subject to an administrative fee.
